Integrity:non-metallic products, such as PEEK, PMMA, nylon, bakelite, PP, glass fibre plate and other engineering plastics materials; injection moulding of plastic products: after demoulding, the surface will have burrs and flying edges, affecting the appearance of the product and how well it can be put together. The dry ice machine can quickly and efficiently remove these burrs, making the surface of the product smooth and flawless. It can also remove the dust before oil spraying, clean the foam overflowing rubber in the home applianceindustry, and deburr the nano-injection moulded mobile phone frames/computers/watch cases in the 3C industry.

干冰去毛刺原理/Dry Ice Deburring Principle

1.干冰颗粒喷射:通过喷嘴将压缩空气或气体推动干冰颗粒,使其以高速冲击到毛刺表面。

2.物理冲击和升华:干冰颗粒与毛刺表面接触时,由于温度差异极大(干冰温度可低至-78.5℃),干冰迅速从固态升华为气态二氧化碳。这个升华过程伴随着体积的急剧膨胀,大约膨胀800倍左右,产生高压气体。这种瞬间的膨胀会产生一种微小的爆炸效应,给毛刺带来强大的冲击力。

3.毛刺去除:高压气体冲击力和升华作用共同作用于毛刺,使毛刺与底材之间的结合变弱甚至断裂。随着干冰颗粒的不断冲击和升华,毛刺逐渐被去除并脱离工件表面。

总的来说,干冰去毛刺的原理是利用干冰的低温性能和升华特性,通过高速喷射干冰颗粒到工件表面,利用干冰的升华产生的微爆炸效应和高压气体冲击力来去除毛刺。

1. Dry Ice Pellet Blasting: Compressed air or gas is pushed through a nozzle to hit the dry ice pellets at high speeds onto the surface of the burr.

2. Physical Impact and Sublimation: When the dry ice pellets touch the surface of the burr, the dry ice is changed from a solid to a gas (called carbon dioxide) very quickly because of the extreme difference in temperature (the temperature of the dry ice can be as low as -78.5°C). This change is accompanied by a dramatic expansion in volume, approximately 800 times, producing a high pressure gas.This sudden expansion produces a tiny explosion effect, giving the burr a powerful impact.

3. Burr removal: The high-pressure gas impact and sublimation work together on the burr, making the bond between the burr and the substrate weaker or even broken. The burr is removed by the continuous impact and sublimation of dry ice particles, which detach the burr from the surface of the workpiece. The process uses dry ice's low temperature and the fact that it turns directly into a gas when it hits a surface.
